Q: What is the
normal wait time on your cake toppers & accessories?
A: We tell all customers
to allow approx. 6-8 weeks for your order to ship. If you need to guarantee that your order will ship in less than 8
weeks we can usually accommodate rush orders. Please see the rush order info for more information. During peak wedding season
our wait sometimes runs a bit longer than usual. We do require that your event date is listed in the Special Instructions
box on our order page so that we can be 100% sure that your order arrives in plenty of time for your event!
Q: I need my topper in less than 8 weeks... can you help me?
A: In most cases, we certainly can. Please contact us at couturecrystals@hotmail.com or give us a call at 251-656-0982 before
ordering so that we can approve your rush order. All approved rush orders will be subject to a $29.00 rush fee which can be
easily added to your total in our shopping cart under Extras.
Q: Do
you do custom orders? What are the prices?
A: Of course! The fee for custom orders
will depend on what you need. We can do just about anything you can imagine so please contact us at couturecrystals@hotmail.com for pricing & more information.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A:
We accept Mastercard, Visa, & Discover through our online ordering system or by phone at 251-656-0982. Money
order & personal checks are also accepted but please remember that mailing your payment will delay the order as we can
not begin production until your payment arrives & clears. There will be an additional wait time of up to 10 business days
added for clearance of personal checks. Please give us a call to place an order if you'd like to pay via check or
money order.
Q: What size topper will work best for my cake top?
A: All of our toppers are designed to fit perfectly on the top of most any wedding cake.
We have worked closely with a local bakery to find the perfect sizing for most wedding cake top tiers. We suggest
our 5" topper for a small top tier (5" and under) or if you will have lots of flowers or other
decorations on top of the cake along with the topper. If the topper will be alone on top of the cake or if
your top tier is 6" or larger we suggest our 6" cake topper. We also offer a 4" topper for small cakes or birthday/anniversary
cakes and a 3" cupcake topper. Our Triple Monograms will also fit on all standard size cake tops. If you feel unsure about the size topper
you should purchase, feel free to contact us with info about your cake & we will be glad to help you make your decision.
Q:
What are your toppers made of? Are they heavy?
A: All of our toppers come standard
made of acrylic which is lightweight and perfect for cake toppers. They will not squash or sink down into your cake.
Although it is not our material of choice, we do also offer the option of using metal for your topper. You may want to check
with your baker before choosing a metal topper as they will be heavier than acrylic. A single topper in metal will weigh around
2 to 3 ounces and a triple letter around 3 to 5 ounces.
Q: How
do the toppers go into the cake?
A: We attach acrylic prongs to each topper which
makes cake decorating a breeze. Simply slide the prong into your cake in the desired spot until the prong disappears &
the topper itself sits on the cake. This will hold the topper firmly into place. Once the big day is over you can easily pop
the prong/s off for display purposes. Most prongs are around 2" - 3". Longer prongs are available at no additional
charge... please request a longer prong in the special instructions during checkout if needed.
Q: Is there any way that I can see what my monogram would look like before I purchase?
A: We will gladly provide a black and white mock at no additional charge. Please contact us at couturecrystals@hotmail.com with your letter & font choices
and we will reply with your mock.
Q: Can you cancel or refund my order?
A: Due
to the nature of our products we will not be able to cancel or refund any portion of your payment once the order is placed. Please
consider all sales to be final.
Q: Do you ship Internationally?
A: Yes, we do. We gladly ship all over the globe however, Global shipping
is more expensive. We offer Global Priority Mail to most areas. Please contact us for a shipping quote. Import taxes may apply
in certain areas. The customer is responsible for all taxes/fees. You will have to contact us by either phone or email to
place an International order as our web-store only supports Domestic shipping.
